Something not working?
To help us reproduce a problem, please include:
- the YouTube link you pasted;
- which tool you were using and what you expected to happen;
- your browser and device (for example "Chrome on Android" or "Safari on iPhone").
Before you write: if a thumbnail size shows as "Not available", that's usually because YouTube hasn't created that size for the video (see why maxresdefault is missing). The FAQ covers other common questions.
Corrections
If a guide is out of date or wrong (for example because YouTube has changed a limit), please tell us which page and, if you can, link to the source. We'll check it and update the page and its "Last updated" date.
Copyright and rights holders
We don't host YouTube thumbnails. The downloader displays images served by YouTube's own image server. If you're a rights holder with a concern about anything on this site, email us with the page address and the details, and we'll look into it promptly. If your concern is about content on YouTube itself, YouTube's copyright removal process is the right route.
Privacy requests
For questions about personal data, or to exercise your rights under UK data protection law, email us with "Privacy" in the subject line. See our privacy policy for details.
