1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of grabytthumb.com ("the site"), run by Rob Falconer (The AI Barn), 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (hello@theaibarn.com). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. What the site provides

The site provides free, browser-based tools and information for people working with YouTube videos: a thumbnail viewer and downloader, a chapter timestamp checker, a description builder and a transcript-to-caption converter, plus written guides. The tools are provided free of charge, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time.

3. Not affiliated with YouTube or Google

The site is independent. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google. "YouTube" is a trademark of Google LLC and is used only to describe what our tools work with.

4. Thumbnails and other people's content

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Our content

The text, design and code of the site belong to The AI Barn, except for third-party material such as YouTube thumbnails, the fonts (used under their open licences) and trademarks, which belong to their owners.

7. Accuracy

We work to keep our guides accurate and dated, and we cite our sources. However, YouTube changes its features and limits regularly, and laws differ between countries. Information on the site may become out of date, so check important details with the original source before relying on them.

8. Availability and liability

The site and tools are provided free, "as is" and "as available". We don't guarantee that they'll always be available, error-free or suitable for your purpose, and we're not responsible for how YouTube's services or images behave. To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including any loss of data, profit or business. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Links to other sites

The site links to other websites, including YouTube, Google and government sources. We're not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Advertising

The site displays advertising provided by Google AdSense. We don't control which specific ads appear, and showing an ad isn't an endorsement. How advertising uses data is explained in our privacy policy.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with its "Last updated" date, is always on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, although if you live elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your home courts.
